Trail mix

This delightful mix of nuts, seeds and dried fruits are a great way to increase your intake of healthy fats and fibre whilst satisfying that sweet craving. It's such a versatile recipe that can be tweaked based on your preferences or what you fancy on the day.


Healthy trail mix

Ingredients:

2 cups pop corn (homemade is best, however store bought can be a quick and easy option)

1 cup nuts of your choice

1 cup seeds of your choice

1/2 cup chocolate drops or buttons (you can have fun with this one and use smarties, m&m's etc. )

1/2 cup dried fruit of your choice


Place all ingredients in a mason jar, give it a shake and help yourself when a tasty snack is needed.
