With this recipe I've made sure that you're getting a good amount of protein and healthy fats along with some complex carbs to help keep you energised through the morning and avoid any sugar spikes.
Protein Breakfast Smoothie
Ingredients
1 cup semi-skimmed milk (or an alternative)
1/3 cup Greek yogurt
2 teaspoons cocoa powder
1 medjool date
1/4 cup oats
1/2 frozen banana
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 Handful spinach
1 Tbsp ground flaxseed
Method
Put all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth
You could make this the night before and keep it in the fridge ready for the next morning.
